St Gingolph — road and lakeside context

Study overview

Status: ARCHIVED CONCEPT STUDY. Place: St Gingolph, Valais, Lake Geneva. Type: study for a residential building of 12 apartments. Scope: architectural research into the relationship between building, slope, access, and views of the lake.

Context and challenge

The steeply sloping site between the cantonal road and the lake requires a coordinated reading of topography, access, noise, light, views, and landscape integration.

Approach

The volumes follow the slope; continuous terraces and glazed surfaces orient the spaces towards light and the lake. The renders explore concept-stage variants and do not describe a project for sale or under construction.

Current status

The study is retained as a research archive. Areas, energy standard, types, budget, programme, and credits are not published without verified documentation.
