OUR STORY

A journey built between territory, people, and project.

Bau Lütz grew from the meeting of architecture, territory, art, and responsibility.

Different family, professional, and cultural experiences converge in a shared project: to read what exists, build verifiable scenarios, and transform ideas into concrete responsibilities.

01 · THE ROOTS

The raw material of the project.

Bau Lütz’s roots lie in a direct relationship with land, buildings, landscape, and craft. Rural places, family homes, natural materials, and transformations of existing buildings shaped a way of seeing in which design and realisation are not separate worlds.

02 · A VISION BUILT TOGETHER

Different expertise, one shared direction.

Micol guides the cultural, human, and design vision and the development of relationships. Joshua supports her in strategy, reading opportunities, financial relationships, and building the network. Architectural, technical, and construction work is developed with professionals and specialists selected according to the appointment.

03 · FROM IDEA TO PROJECT

Research, study, and verification.

Documented renovations, territorial analyses, the archived St Gingolph concept study, the La Farfalla model, and research into villages and residential structures have made it possible to relate landscape, sustainability, buildability, and programme.

04 · WHY SWITZERLAND

A demanding context.

Linguistic plurality, the quality of the territory, a widespread built heritage, and environmental responsibility make Switzerland the principal context for growth. Bau Lütz works between Switzerland and Italy and builds professional relationships proportionate to the real conditions of each project.

05 · THE PRESENT

A structure in development.

Bau Lütz is building its operational structure, professional network, and the tools needed to move from preliminary studies to appointments. Current work focuses on making responsibilities, documents, expertise, and decision-making stages verifiable.

ROOTS

Bau Lütz’s roots lie in a direct relationship with land, buildings, landscape, and craft. Rural places, family homes, natural materials, and local communities shaped an understanding of living in which a building belongs to the territory that receives it.

A VISION BUILT TOGETHER

Micol guides the cultural, human, and project vision and relationship development. Joshua supports her in strategy, opportunity assessment, financial and international relations, and the selection of collaborations. A network suited to each engagement is assembled around this core.

FROM IDEA TO PROJECT

Documented renovations, territorial analysis, the archived St Gingolph concept study, the La Farfalla model, and research into villages and structures to be regenerated have helped define the method. Each experience retains its actual status.

WHY SWITZERLAND

Linguistic plurality, territorial quality, a widely distributed built heritage, and environmental responsibility make Switzerland the main context for growth. Bau Lütz looks at cities, villages, mountain settlements, and buildings to be converted, seeking coherent residential, economic, and community perspectives.

THE PRESENT

FROM RESEARCH TO VERIFIABLE ENGAGEMENTS

An organization in development

Bau Lütz is building the operating structure, professional network, and tools required to move from preliminary studies to engagements. Work includes territorial research, feasibility, design, relations with owners and public authorities, and the development of sustainable living models.

FUTURE DIRECTION

Develop projects that combine economic soundness, architectural quality, and territorial value. Growth will be accompanied by formalized collaborations and verifiable documentation.

A STORY STILL BEING WRITTEN

Bau Lütz’s story has begun, but it is not complete. Every project, collaboration, and territory encountered will help shape its next chapters.
